the ups and downs of life

Learning Experiences

I recently wrote about what a difference a year makes. In reality, what a difference a few days make. Significant events can come about without any notice. Yeah, that happened. I am not going to brood over it. I am going to view it as a learning experience.

If we don’t learn from everything in life, we’ll never progress. I don’t want to stay the same. I want to be a better version of who I am. In general I like who I am but I can always improve. We all can.

People and experiences can be positive or negative. Instead of just being angry when something goes wrong, look at what it was and learn from it. What did you gain from it? What did it lack? Look for the positive in your next experience and try to avoid the negative.

Life’s not easy. Learn from it.
