the ups and downs of life

The art of apologizing

We all make mistakes. The other day I did. I used my words when I shouldn’t have. I hurt someone’s feelings (I believe) because I was frustrated. I have apologized privately. Now I’m apologizing publicly.

As I stated, we all make mistakes. I can own mine. But I do hope that the people who may understand this know that I’m not as bad as they may have thought. There’s been a piece of me that has felt considered dead and gone for 16 years and it’s not easy adjusting to realizing that piece isn’t dead. There’s so much more to it but that’s too much for here.

Just know I can apologize. I did apologize. I’m living day to day. I learn each day. I hope others do, too.
