the ups and downs of life

Farewell to a Legend

Whitney Houston was amazing and had a beautiful voice. I remember the first song I ever heard her perform. I actually used it when I got married years ago. “Nobody Loves Me Like You Do” She had such a strong and pure voice.

It saddens me that drugs and alcohol brought her down so far through the years. She was better than that. Hopefully people will learn from this. There are naysayers who say that drugs aren’t that bad. Yeah, they are. They kill. And if they don’t kill you immediately, they will eventually ravage your body to the point where it can no longer heal itself.

Farewell, Whitney Houston. I hope you finally found peace and are in as beautiful place as your voice. You will be missed and we will always love you.

  1. Sad for sure…what a waste…sometimes our addictions are stronger than we are.
