the ups and downs of life

I missed my Daddy today

Today was the anniversary of Daddy’s death. 14 years. Mama has been gone longer but I tend to lump it together i’m 40 and haven’t seen my parents in so long. I know they are in a better place but it is still hard. I love them and miss them so much

  1. Hugs to you…anniversaries and holidays are always difficult…

  2. I get a reprieve for a month. No anniversaries or birthdays til 8/5. That would be Daddy’s birthday and then I can take a break emotionally til Thanksgiving. Whew! 🙂 It’s amazing that after so long it is still such a painful thing. But then again, that means my parents really impacted my life.
