My Trash Can Is Nasty

I pulled the trash bag out today and it was gross. The stupid thing had leaked and there was nasty blueberry juice that was rotting. I found out that cleaning a trashcan is not so easy. So right now by can is standing in the bathtub with bleach and hot water. I am hoping that it will get the nastiness out.

I’m not sure exactly how I am going to scrub the bottom of that can, though. My arms aren’t long enough to reach the bottom. I’m thinking of buying a toilet brush just for cleaning the trash can. That would give me the additional reaching power I need. Let’s just hope the bleach and hot water do most of the work.

What really got me about my nasty trash can is that I used one of those flex type of trash bags that are supposed to be leak proof. So now I wonder why I even paid extra for those things. Obviously they’re not that great. Maybe this is a mundane blog post, but I am so frustrated with the added expense of those stupid bags. So anybody know of better bags?
