Will This Illness Ever End?

I wasn’t feeling well this morning but I just chalked it up to a crazy morning and left it at that. I went to bed and woke up to sore throat, runny nose, watery eyes and headache. I don’t do well with colds. When I get one it is like it comes in and makes itself at home for quite a while. So for the last 2 weeks I have been fighting the stomach bug issues and tonight the cold. I don’t know what those people at work are doing but they keep bringing germs in and I am feeling worse and worse. I want to go crawl back in the bed because I am feeling yuck and cold. Instead I am about to get ready to go to work. Ugh.

Flip Flops in December!

I love it! Flip flops in December! What a great thing. I was so surprised this morning when I saw the temp was in the mid 50s. I had an appointment and I decided to wear the flip-flops.

Typically this time of year in the mountains of Western North Carolina it is cold and either rainy or snowy. I am a die-hard on flip-flops and have had to give them up in the past in October. Not this year. The weather has been crazy. Last week it was cold! This week it is somewhat mild for December. Is this global warming? Whatever it is I like it! I don’t like wearing real shoes. I prefer my flip-flops!
