I Got a BS from College!
Yep! I got a BS from college finally. I spent a long time working for my degree. Finally I have my Bachelors of Science degree in Information Technology with a concentration on Web Design! WOOO-FREAKING-HOO!
I know I was somewhat mixed on feelings a couple of weeks ago. Things have changed. I am relieved. I feel like I can breathe again. I feel like I can do things for myself again. I don’t have to be constantly consumed with only work and school. It’s kind of nice.
I have had two days now without homework and I am so amazed at how liberating it is. I have SLEPT! I didn’t have to wake myself at crazy hours to make sure I uploaded files on time. I could actually sleep.
There was a scare Sunday and Monday. I was on-call for work and my last 2 days of class were Sunday and Monday. Sunday my internet went out. I called my ISP and somehow they had an order in to disconnect it. I spent 4 hours dealing with them between Sunday and Monday. They told me I wouldn’t have access until Monday night at 8 p.m. I needed to turn in a project Sunday but I was like “it will have to be late.” So I finally get internet back Sunday night and am working hard. The phone rings. Work was calling. They needed me to come in because someone called out. I nearly burst into tears. Thankfully I had probably 5/6 of my project completed. I busted it out because I needed a source for a reference. I was able to get it turned in, a shower, and make it to work on time. Whew!
I got my final grade for the class today. 97.79. Yay! I looked over my course program and loved seeing the 100% complete. So, yes, I now have a BS from college. Yay me! I have finally graduated.
