I sometimes fantasize about what about I would do if I won the lottery. It’s a nice way to just escape from the world for a bit and dream. I have a lot of things I would do. I would first make sure that I got the taxes taken care of. There is nothing more like a thorn in the backside than the IRS. Then I would take 10% and put that aside in a charitable trust as a tithe. If I won the lottery and it was millions of dollars, I would definitely want to make sure that I gave it wisely and that wouldn’t be all at once. Then I would quit my job and RELAX! I would buy a house on the coast of North Carolina right on the beach. I want to be able to hear waves crashing daily. I would have to make sure that the house had a screened porch area for me and my girls to kick back. My cats love looking outside but they do not go outside so a screened in porch would be great. They would have some of the feel of the outdoors without actually being loose outside. I would also go to a spa for at least a week. I need to be pampered. I have worked hard all my life and would love to just be spoiled beyond belief. I wish I had someone to do it for free, but if I had the money I would pay for it! I would also make time for travel. It would be hard to be away from the girls, but I would ask a friend to take care of them so I could go have some adventures. I would love to see the rolling pastures of Ireland dotted with sheep or fields of heather. I would love to go to Paris and go to the Louvre and see the Seine and walk along the Champs Elysee. I would love to eat my way through Italy. They have some of my favorite food so I would love to taste authentic Italian cuisine. As much as I love art, this would definitely be a great place because it was the home of so many wonderful artists. I would also love to go to Greece. It is so rich in history. And the Aegean Sea is beautiful. I’m not so sure how I would fare with their food, though since I am not fond of feta cheese. Wonder what else they might have to tempt me. Then I would come back to beautiful North Carolina and rest. I would definitely need to rest because I would want to travel all throughout the United States, too. I haven’t explored my own country and would love to. So many places to see. I think my favorite destination would be California. But then I know I would be ready to come back home. I would love to have the time to paint and write whenever I wanted. I wouldn’t have time constraints. I could be a free-spirited artist. And I could end each day with a walk down the beach. Ahhh….what a nice dream. Now what numbers should I play? Hmmmm….
